It was a full house at Stanfords last night as we hosted a talk to celebrate the launch of the Slow Ways Pocket Atlas. The atlas creators Charlie Peel, Hannah Engelkamp and Daniel Raven-Ellison explained the initial ideas and the evolution that lead to the finished atlas.

They explained how this atlas has been designed to be a dreaming and planning tool and it is intended to be coloured in, drawn on, kept in back pockets and passed around.
The audience was made up of many people who had contributed to this atlas as Slow Ways is an ambitious citizen-made, peer-reviewed national walking network.
This is one small book, filled with the distilled exploration, energy and wisdom of hundreds of people, all assembled here to help you find your way.

Slow Ways Pocket Atlas is available now for £12.99
