And by that we mean turn off your lights on Saturday at 8.30pm for Earth Hour, and on Sunday, tune in to Simon Reeve on BBC2 as the first episode of his new series on Turkey airs.
We don’t mean to brag, but we are pretty good friends with Simon Reeve. We were lucky enough to have him as a daily guest at our Stanfords Travel Writers Festival earlier this year. If you were able to attend, you might remember him talking about his upcoming BBC2 series on Turkey (if not you can catch up on our podcasts here). The first episode airs this Sunday at 9pm.
Here is his trailer:
Turkey with Simon Reeve, BBC2.

This Saturday sees the return of Earth Hour. Between 8.30pm and 9.30pm GMT people around the world will turn off their lights for an hour to show some love for our planet and join a global show of support for action on climate.
The WWF partnered with this annual global event in 2009 and last year 178 countries took part with famous landmarks including the Eiffel Tower, Sydney Opera House and Buckingham Palace all switching their lights off.
It’s a perfect excuse to have a candle lit dinner party or go for a moonlit walk. Sign up to show your support with WWF.
Have a wonderful weekend.
