There are two schools of thought as to where Santa lives. Some say the North Pole, while others claim he lives in Lapland. Perhaps he lives between the two and has a condo in Lapland and an estate in the North Pole. Although, how he manages to afford both of those and only work one night a year is hard to believe. But that is literally the only thing about him that is hard to believe. Right?
Anyway, as he gears up for his one night of labour, we thought we would have a look around one of his homes, Lapland. You know, before he gets to look in all of ours. Well, those of us who have been nice anyway.
This double-sided map shows the whole of the northernmost part of Scandinavia at a scale of 1:800,000 with altitude colouring, plus street plans of Tromsø, Rovaniemi and Murmansk. Coverage extends south to the top of the Gulf of Bothnia, and eastwards just beyond Murmansk.
