Here’s a fun one this Mappy Monday (Funday, if you will). By day this looks like a normal map of the world, but in the dark it transforms into something rather special. IT GLOWS IN THE DARK.
The outlines of the continents, islands and the road network glow to show a very powerful image of the world. Symbols for cities indicate the size of their population by highlighting its more densely populated regions and when glowing in the dark, it provides an interesting picture of the population distribution across the world. We think this map provides something interesting and thought provoking to contemplate when lying awake during the night.
