Camping at Waldseilgarten Höllschlucht, Germany
Fair weather campers can rejoice as the temperature is about to rise to an acceptable level this weekend in the UK. If you fancy something a bit more extreme how about high-elevation camping?
At Waldseilgarten Höllschlucht, there are different options for aerial camping. One of which takes place on the grounds of the resort’s High Ropes course, where a platform is suspended from trees roughly twenty-five feet above ground. Other options include a portaledge tent hanging from a sturdy branch in the forest. Another option also known as ’Bavarian style’ is on a portaledge up to a thousand feet above the valley. Definitely not for the feint hearted.
