London is set to add a new park to its list of green spaces, an artist rehouses hermit crabs and a map made out of fake IDs. It’s this week’s travel news:
London to get a new park
It’s had plenty of new skyscrapers but it’s been a while since a new park was added to the metropolis. £220 million of funding from TFL sees a portion go towards revamping Alfred Place in central London, making it into a green space.

Artist creates shells for hermit crabs

Japanese artist Aki Inomata has created new homes for hermit crabs by creating shells depicting cities of the world. Using CAD and 3D printing the hermit crabs have homes replicating NYC’s skyline and buildings in Thailand, Greece and other countries.

Fake ID map of the USA

Doing the rounds on the internet this party season is this USA map made up of fake IDs. A bar in Washington DC made the map using confiscated fake IDs from different states that had been collected by bouncers. Bars and clubs around the USA are reposting the image as a warning to underage drinkers thinking about trying their luck.
