An update looking ahead to an autumn of great events at the Royal Geographical Society (with IBG).
The programme of events for the autumn season at the Royal Geographical Society (with IBG) is now available to view online. Some events are open to members and Fellows only, however many are open to the public. Highlights this season include a lecture from current President Nicholas Crane about the British landscape, a travel evening on Kazakhstan, a policy discussion on flooding and an exhibition showcasing the first ever platinum prints made from Frank Hurley’s negatives of the Endurance expedition.
Now is a great time to join the Society with events taking place throughout the autumn, in London and around the UK. Society membership is open to anyone with a passion for geography.
