1. Covent Garden & Theatre Land- Visit the atmospheric Covent Garden Piazza and surrounding cobble-stoned streets for some of the best shopping in London. Walk to the nearby Trafalgar Square, St Martin-in-the-Fields church, the National Gallery and British Museum. In the evening, dine in the vibrant restaurants of London’s Chinatown before an evening performance at the Royal Opera House or one of the many West End Theatres.

2. South Bank- Walk the Thames Path from the serene Battersea Park into central London stopping to admire the galleries and buildings along the way. Step inside the Tate Modern and look up in amazement at the magnificent Turbine Hall before getting a bite to eat at the famous Borough Market.

3. The City- Head over to London’s famous Brick Lane for a curry before boarding the Thames Clipper for great views of London and Tower bridge on the way to Canary Wharf to see the tall buildings of Canary Wharf by night.

4. The Thames- Enjoy breathtaking views from the London Eye before jumping on a boat all the way to Greenwich. Visit the National Maritime Museum, the impressive Royal Observatory and take in views of London from the sprawling park.

5. Grand Union Canal- Cycle along the towpath of the Grand Union Canal and stop by Camden to experience all things alternative. Finish the day with a picnic at Regents Park.

6. Richmond Park- Walk, cycle or travel horseback through London’s own National Nature Reserve taking in the stunning landscape and resident deer. Visit the panoramic viewpoint at King Henry VIII’s Mound, from where you can see St Paul’s cathedral 10 miles in the distance.
